DrDepth Sonar Lab Viewer Review
This is a new feature added to the BTSS version December 2011. The sonar lab has many other features covered in the Xtools help file but I find the 2D viewer valuable for reviewing my sonar logs saved from my Lowrance.
You can replay the files quickly and create waypoints on interesting structure or fish and export those files to you GPS and drive back and check them out.
I created a waypoint on the school of fish on the drop off and the waypoint is shown at the top with the black line around it. You can change the name of the waypoint in DrDepth before you export it to your Lowrance.
Creating waypoints off the sonar log
- Press CTL and double left click on the area of interest
- The waypoint is saved in the DrDepth waypoint manager
You also replay the side scan and the DownScan and create waypoints interesting area for future scouting.
